Minor Arcana
The minor arcana make up 56 of the 78 cards in a tarot deck-- so you're more than likely to run into them in a reading. So, what's the difference between the major and minor arcana? Here's an analogy that might help: If you think of the Major arcana as a paint roller, painting the entirety of the canvas, the minor arcana is more like a fine tipped paintbrush. The minor arcana help to paint the picture, but with more detailed, smaller strokes.
